DOMINICAL
The highest tide of the year (308 cm.) occurs this Friday. A west-southwest swell pushes in overhead surf throughout the weekend. Next week a bigger SW swell stays well off the coast, but keeps the waves coming. Offshore winds every morning, unless it's raining.
PLAYA JACO & HERMOSA
The Rover Cam, courtesy of Loma del Mar surf camp , showed head high to overhead waves at "The Tree". Glassy until noon.
NICOYA PENINSULA
From Patti at The Monkey Bar & Best Western - Vista Villas Tamarindo (653-0114): "A slight indication of a south swell showing in Tamarindo. Wave height is waist to head high but the conditions are choppy. Wind direction in the morning is running light offshore but turning early to onshore conditions. Wind speed 10-15 and causing side winds on southern exposed beaches. Avellanas - road conditions are rough-should improve by Thursday and may be a place to watch for surf Friday. Playa Grande blown out. If the south comes in Grande should be good later in the week. Playa Negra only accessible via Santa Cruz-conditions choppy and wind-blown. No boats running to Ollies' or Witch's. If the south comes in, conditions maybe good for Friday or Saturday. High tides +9 making a quick turn in tides."

MAREAS (sumé una hora cada dia)
Marea Baja de viernes - 10:02; Marea Alta - 4:14
DOMINICAL
La marea mas alta del año (308 cm.) pasa este viernes. Un "swell" del oeste-suroeste empuje olas sobre-cabezas en todo del fin de semana. La proxima semana un "swell" mas grande se queda lejos de la playa, pero mantiene las olas veniendo. Vientos "offshore" para todos los dias, a menos que esta lloviendo.
PLAYA JACO Y HERMOSA
El Camara "Rover", cortesía de Loma del Mar acampamento del surf, muestró olas con tamanas de cabeza y mas grande a "El Arbol". Como vidrio hasta media dia.
NICOYA PENINSULA
De Patti en El Monkey Bar & Best Western - Vista Villas (653-0114): Un poco indicacion de un "swell" del sur mostrando en Tamarindo. Las tamanas de las olas son cintura a pecho pero son picadas. El dirección del viento en la mañana es una pocita "offshore" pero cambiando temprano a "onshore". La velocidad es 10-15 y causando un viento lateral en las playas orientado hacia el sur. Avellanas - las condiciónes de las calles son malas, pero debe mejorar hoy y posible es un lugar a mirar para surf viernes. Playa Grande es "blown out". Si el "swell" del sur viene Grande debe bueno mas tarde en la semana. Playa Negra accesible solomente por Santa Cruz - condiciónes son picados con muchos vientos. No barcos viajando a Ollie's o Witch's. Si el "swell" viene, condiciones son buenos posible para viernes y sabado. Mareas altas +9 haciendo un cambio rapido en mareas.
