There is a TWO WEEK WINDOW for surf on the Pacific Coast. Waves will be at least overhead, and will jump up a foot on Tuesday. By Friday waves will be at 2 foot overhead on most sets with a 15 second period and the weekend has surf even bigger. It doesn't drop until April 8th. Pick your point breaks and get up early to avoid the winds/crowds. On the Caribean, small East swell picks up over the week to head high by Thursday. More overhead ENE waves showing for the weekend.

** From Matt at SurfingNosara.com in Playa Guiones - (3/22)

Fun sized surf today with good shape. Marq was out there trying out a new board today. Why you might ask???? Well, Magic has some 5 star days on the forecast. That's right. Wed, Thurs and Fri are 6.5, 6, and 6 foot, respectively with a 16 second period from a favorable direction. Let's hope they are right because lets face it, head high waves are getting a bit hackneyed at this point. Don't get me wrong, these waves are tons of fun, we all love to surf them but its nice to get the adrenaline pumping every now and again. Besides, the wipeout photos are WAY better when its pumping, and who doesn't like a good wipeout shot. Check out the shot of Marq and Big Daddy sharing a wave. The poor guy on the longboard paddling back out became a speed bump for a brief moment.

** From Hotel Buenisimo in Santa Teresa/Mal Pais (3/22) -

AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Head high, good conditions in the morning. Windy mush in the afternoon.

** From Chuck at Walking on Water Surf Shop in Jaco (3/15)-

AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Small clean fun waves and maybe a bump coming ? Weather is nice too! Want a real good deal on a new stick, we have few 07s we are blowing out but they are selling fast, mention you saw this note on CRSURF and we will pass on some unreal deals ! Chuck and the CREW !
