patrollers on Monday and it will increase to 1-2 foot overhead by Tuesday. Stays
big Wednesday, and by Thursday some WNW swell brings in more peaks, although a
foot smaller in size. It will stay headhigh going into the weekend and drop down
to chest high by next Monday. After that, the next overhead swell will take
about six days to arrive from the south. Caribbean - The Caribbean is brewing
another hurricane as we speak, but it is headed north past the Yucatan and won't
give the beaches any breaks. Knee high with a freak waist high set all week and
flat going into the weekend. To do your own forecast - use our links at

(sent in on 10/14) ** From Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas in Playa Grande - AREA
WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: The rainy
weather is still lingering, but the wind has layed down a little and
occasionally ther are ridable waves. WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and
waves) - Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): Rainy weather and
chocolate milk BEST PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a
surfear este fin de semana en su area: Out front when the wind is right NEWS AND
UPCOMING EVENTS- Noticias y dias especiales: The turtles are here. ** From
Diana at Pura Mar Surf Shop in Tamarindo - AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS -
Tamano de las olas y condiciones: It's raining like crazy and it has been
for...seems like a long time. The ocean isn't really the color of water that
you'd want to swim in, but there ARE waves. The on-shore wind that has been
blowing for weeks has created washing-machine-like conditions. If you do decide
to go in the water, make sure you use some kind of disinfectant in your ears
afterward because ear infections are common in these conditions.
WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves) - Que va a
pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): The rain is supposed to start letting
up on Saturday, so we might see a little sun. The water will still be dirty, but
if the wind switches the waves could be nice in the mornings. La lluvia
supuestamente empieza a terminar el sabado asi que taz vez veremos un poco de
sol. El agua estara siempre sucia, pero si cambia el viento, pueden haber olas
bonitas en las mananas. BEST PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor
lugar a surfear este fin de semana en su area: There have been some decent waves
in front of the Diria and down at the rivermouth in the last weeks. Se han visto
olas bastante buenas en frente del Diria y en la boca del rio en las ultimas
semanas. ** From Witchs Rick Surf Camp in Tamarindo - Heavy rains last night
and this morning defintely were a bummer. Some sun this morning and a slight
offshore breeze brought some clean and somewhat organized chest highers. Yeah,
then it started raining again... Still some good sets out there, breaking more
towards the rivermouth, mostly lefts. Definitely worth an afternoon session, see
you in the lineup. Pura Vida, Stephen Monticone ** From John Lyman Photos at
Pablo's Picasso with the Playa Negra surf report: Photo Tamarindo again presents
the photography of John Lyman Photos in three beautiful full color calendars:
Surfing Costa Rica's Secret Spots, The Sunsets of Costa Rica and the 2006
edition of the ever popular The Waves of Costa Rica. Each calendar is 8-1/2" x
11" and runs 13 months. Check them out and place your order at
http://tamarindobeach.net/photos_lyman/index.html ** From Samara Surf School on
the Nicoya Peninsula - AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y
condiciones: The swell has backed down, but there are still some bigger waves
rolling in, 4 feet waves, good form. Off shore winds, before the rain storms,
but mostly choppy conditions.WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves) -
Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): A swell is expected to be
coming in with the full moon being on Monday, hopefully bringing 6 to 7 foot
waves, nice form.
For the weekend we have 4 foot waves, soft peaks, great for intermediate
surfers. Good time to practice up on your skills. Perfect conditions for
beginners for whitewater. Choppy conditions with rain.BEST PLACE TO SURF THIS
WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a surfear este fin de semana en su area:
The best surfing spot in Samara is right in front of the Las Brisas Del Pacifico
hotel. No crowds or localism, with a nice clean perfect wave. LONG RIDES THIS
WEEK!NEWS AND UPCOMING EVENTS- Noticias y dias especiales: Native Samarian James
Flores took first place in local surf competition. James is 23 years old and is
the gym manager and top surf instructor at Jesse's surf and Gym in Samara. James
is looking for sponsers to help him compete in the larger, more up scale surf
competetions. He'll make you proud, contact him at 656-0055 Pura Vida ** From
Chuck at Walking on Water Surf Shop in Jaco - AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS
- Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Waves have been so much fun lately ,
anywhere from chest -2 ft overhead and glassy peaks at all hours of the day¡
Hermosa unreal if your into fun HOTDOG beachbreak ¡ Weather ain't so great but
who cares as long as the wind isnt blowing we love it ¡ It's pretty quiet here
on the business side and not too many folks out in the water so, we have more
time for surfing and no crowds . As a matter of fact we now have all our
employess on the surf plan, "THE GIRLS"have all had their first lesson with
ALLAN AND HAVE ALL RIDDEN THEIR FIRST UNASSISTED WAVES ! I am stoked because
they are stoked and have just been a little bit closer to WALKING ON WATER at
W.O.W. SURF ! Be good, do good things and think great thoughts . Pura Vida,
Chuck ! ** From Rancho Coral in Playa Esterillos - Costa Rica Central Pacific

Height: South 4ft., Sea Surface: Glass, Wind: Offshore 0-5 MPH, Sunrise: 5:31 AM
Sunset: 6:12 PM, Current Conditions: We have small but fun conditions down at
Centro this Morning and back to The Reef for The High Tide hours, Pura Vida! New
Girls of Costa Rica calendars for 2006 in - visit

Reforestation Services in Dominical - AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano
de las olas y condiciones: Shoulder to head high, peaky, and fun. Better at
lower tides...too small and mushy for high tide. WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND
(weather and waves) - Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): It looks
like more of the same. For us light weights, this is as fun as it gets. BEST
PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a surfear este fin de
semana en su area: Dominical beach or Playa Hermosa. At Dominical beach the
river mouth has changed everything and usually (but not always) just south of
the river mouth is the best break. At low tides you can expect to get covered up
regularly (getting out is your problem).
