remains of a SW swell. Tuesday drops another foot, smaller the farther north you
go from Dominical. Wednesday to Friday the WSW swell keeps some head high sets
coming in and it's not until Saturday that the first overhead sets of a SW swell
fill in. The weekend calls for overhead conditions, but you have to wait for the
sets. Best time of day is early morning low tides barrels. Caribbean - "Next
ENE swell to come in a week from Tuesday." is true from last week's forecast,
but the first head high sets will arrive on Monday. Tuesday it maxes out with
surf 1-2 foot overhead, but quickly fades back to head high on Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday still show some head high sets, but more infrequent. And
Saturday, another ENE swell shows an overhead set every forty minutes. More
swell forecasted in the next two weeks, time to book a trip or head over from
the Pacific. To do your own forecast - use our links at
http://www.crsurf.com/surflink.html TIDES for 11/13 Low Tide: .67 ft at 6:18 am
High Tide: 8.21 ft at 12:31 pm (add 50 min. each day) Full Moon - November 15th

(sent in on 11/11 and 12) ** From Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas in Playa Grande -
AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Excellent
morning surf in the head high range for several days now with light off shore
wind holding through the tides. The hotties are calling it weak and the rest of
us are feeling like we are in paradise. The sand is in fairly good shape for
long rides and very little high tide mush out. The crappy roads are opening
spaces for uncrowded sessions here and there. WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND
(weather and waves) - Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): The
tides are moving into the mid day slot and threatening the perfect morning wind
conditions at out going tide. The overcast cloud conditions will help the wind
stick around. BEST PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a
surfear este fin de semana en su area: The bigger waves are hitting a little
south of the main peak in front of the hotel. ** From Carlos at Costa Rica Surf
Trips in Playa de Coco - Reporte de Olas Wichs rock and Ollies point- Witchs
rock: las olas estan entrando con un tamaño de entre 3 a 5 ft perfectas y el

Travis's blog at Witchs Rock Surf Camp in Tamarindo - (11/13) Chest to head
high waves rolled in for hours today, from about 11:00am to 3:00pm. The wind
cooperated and every now and then there were clean up sets coming through well
overhead! It was a very nice day in Tamarindo. We are expecting more of the same
tomorrow, so check back in! Pura Vida, Travis Call - Positive Vibe Technician -
WRSC ** From John Lyman Photos at Pablo's Picasso with the Playa Negra surf
report: AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: The
surf has been pretty small the last few days. Waves in the waist to shoulder
high range is standard right now.WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves)
- Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): Expect more small stuff for
the weekend with the occasional headhigh sneeker set every hour or so. Will be
best in the mid morning incoming tide. Take out the longboard and hang ten.BEST
PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a surfear este fin de
semana en su area: It's been best right in front of the hotel at Playa Negra.
That will be the best spot all week. Check it out.NEWS AND UPCOMING EVENTS-

EVENTS- Noticias y dias especiales: Summertime is on it's way! The winds are
blowing in some beautiful days! Great time to come learn surfing!!! Pura Vida **
From Chuck at Walking on Water Surf Shop in Jaco - AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND
CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Out front today was about 3-4 ft
faces with the occasional bigger set and good shape at the "white fence" crowds
not too bad and water quality is great with water so clear you could see your
shadow on the bottom ! Nice Huh! Got some great product starting to arrive in
the shop and plenty more on the way , some new board package deals starting at
550$ including deck, leash, boardbag, fins, wax etc. and not cheap chines boards
or fake bigname labels either . All proud surfer built boards as usual ! Shop
workers are all surfing now and its getting harder to keep em working as they
get better , OH NO I have created more surf hungry wave eating monsters !
Anyways now that the whole store crew surfs anyone looking for employment ? I
need a fulltime surfer [male or female] to open and close shifts on a rotation
basis willing to work hard and be part of our crew . Pays okay, hours are
somewhat surf friendly [once a day] and I only ask that they have their papers
in order so that after the trial period we can put them with "LA CAJA" . If you
are interested send me a resume and call for an appointment ! Thanks Chuck !
