AREA REPORTS

NICOYA (N)

** From Diana the best surf instructor in Tamarindo -

AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y
condiciones:
Those hard off-shores are back, starting up around 9 AM and blowing
until mid afternoon. Waves are smaller than at the beginning of the
week, waist high and breaking fast. Los fuertes vientos off-shore han
regresado. Empiezan a las 9 de la manana y siguen hasta la tarde. Las
olas estan mas pequenas ahora que al principio de la semana, de a la
cintura y romen fuertes.

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves) - Que va a
pasar este
fin de semana (clima y olas): This weekend morning sessions should be
good although probably not all that big. Mid tide is a better pick
right now than high tide. Este fin de semana las sessiones de las
mananas deben ser buenas aunque probablemente no muy grande. La
media
marea entrante esta mejor ahora que la marea alta.

BEST PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a
surfear este fin de semana en su area: Avellanas has a little more
size than Tamarindo right now, so that's my pick for morning surf.
Avellanas esta mas grande que Tamarindo ahora, asi que la recomiendo
para surfear en las mananas.

What's happening at the Best Western these holiday weeks?

AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y
condiciones:
Beautiful conditions: offshore winds blowing all day long for the
last few days, sunny skies, and a fun little chest to occasionally
head high swell running. Tides are moving slowly so there's a large
window for surfing at Grande. Fun little barrells to be had by all!

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves) - Que va a
pasar este
fin de semana (clima y olas): More of the same!

BEST PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a
surfear este fin de semana en su area: All up and down the beach at
Grande.

** From Coconut Harry in Nosara -

Feliz Navidad from Nosara! Waves picked up - head high to 2 ft
overhead set waves - lotsa wind
today, though. Playa Guiones
